BioProcess Technology Consultants Opens European Office

BioProcess Technology Consultants has opened a European office in Denmark and appointed Lars Skriver, Ph.D., as senior consultant to lead its operations. The European office will provide the company’s full range of services for the development and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products.

“The addition of Lars to our team and the establishment of this new European office confirm the strength of our international commitment,” said Howard L. Levine, Ph.D., president of BioProcess Technology Consultants. “It will provide our European clients with more responsive and economical services through a prominent local biopharmaceutical expert along with continued access to the full breadth and scope of our services. We are delighted to have Lars join us as a key addition to our team.”

Dr. Skriver was previously director and principal consultant at L&K Biosciences, a company he co-founded. Prior to founding L&K Biosciences, Dr. Skriver was operational manager in Protein Technology and Process Development at Novo Nordisk in Denmark, where he was involved in the development of a number of recombinant human protein products.

For the past two years, Dr. Skriver and BioProcess Technology Consultants have worked together through a strategic alliance. Dr. Skriver’s appointment will expand the company’s custom-tailored services to support product discovery and development from clone to clinic and span all phases of the product lifecycle.
